Angaga Island Resort is one of the most naturally beautiful islands in the Maldives. It is truly a tropical paradise in the center of south Ari Atoll - encircled by soft white sandy beach and surrounded by sparkling blue lagoon, pretty thatched 50 individual beach front superior bungalows and 20 water villas and neighboring islands scattered across the horizon. This naturally beautiful island offers’ modern high quality accommodation Spa and choice of water sports and sports.
Another highlight is the dining, especially at night, with candlelit tables and sand underfoot below the arched, thatched roof. The plates are big and so is the buffet selection. Chefs line up to serve and cook at the live stations. The spread is fantastic, but one tip here: it doesn't change that much so better do only some of it each night.
If you're not put off by style issues or you don't intend to spend much time indoors anyway, Angaga is really a lovely island - very pretty, very quiet, with a great beach and fine snorkelling.
The island is approximately 52,000 square meters and is superb for snorkeling and diving with the house reef just 7-8 meters from the beach featuring live coral and beautiful marine life. This is a great island for those holidaymakers seeking peace and tranquility. Male International Airport is 85 km away, 25 minutes by sea plane. Sea plane transfer included! Please note sea plane transfers only depart in daylight hours between 0700 - 1600 hours.
